One Direction AMA 2013 performance video, "Story of My Life"; Wins first AMA award for Favorite Album, Pop/Rock

British boy band One Direction performed at the American Music Awards tonight with their new single "Story of My Life."

One Direction's performance was among a number of highly anticipated performances at the award show this weekend.

The show aired live on ABC from the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

The group was nominated for Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Pop/Rock along with Imagine Dragons and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis; and Favorite Album, Pop/Rock with Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake.

The group won Favorite Band, Duo or Group, Pop/Rock and Favorite Album, Pop/Rock.

The members of One Direction arrived at the red carpet pre-show dressed in grey and black outfits.

The boyband recently released their latest album, "Midnight Memories" and are currently busy promoting their latest work.

Band member Harry Styles was spotted earlier this week on a dinner date with Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian's half-sister.
