The year's shopping season is officially about to begin, and retailers and online stores are now gearing up to go head-to-head in their massive discounts. Microsoft is one such store and the lineup of markdowns that it has prepared for its Black Friday sale is something that buyers will look to take advantage of.

Earlier this week, the Microsoft Store launched its Black Friday landing page, showcasing some of the best deals around. Most of the discounts will begin on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 23, and will run through Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Microsoft is selling an Xbox One S bundle with 500 GB storage space for $189. The console is bundled with a free game and a one month game pass. This saves the buyer $60.

The store will also sell the unlocked version of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ with $150 savings, and the Fitbit Charger 2 with a $50 discount.

The company's Surface Pro laptop will also be sold at a discounted rate starting Thanksgiving. Buyers will get a whopping $329 savings on the high end laptop, which will sport an Intel i5 processor and 256 GB solid state drive storage. The store will also be selling the Dell Inspiron 13 laptop at a discounted rate of $399, which saves consumers $200.

While these discounts will begin on Thanksgiving, the Microsoft Store is also offering some notable early markdowns that will start as early as Nov. 19.

The Xbox One S 500GB Console Starter Bundle, which comes with a free game, will be available with a $50 discount starting Sunday. For gamers who want to get a console with a larger storage space, an Xbox One S 1TB Console Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle with a free game can be purchased from the store with also a $50 discount.

While many physical and online retailing giants are giving huge discounts this holiday season, Microsoft will not get left behind with its lineup Microsoft and third party branded electronic devices.
