Called "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain", the new stealth video game is currently in the works by Japanese game developer Kojima Productions and is expected to be launched for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows platforms.

The new action game is a sequel to the previous "Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes".

The previous Ground Zeroes game was just released last year in March for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows consoles as well. Game Spot said in a review that the Ground Zeroes game was more immersive in comparison with the previous games.

The Japanese game company just revealed a new gameplay trailer at the recent Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 (E3 2015) event which took place in Los Angeles, California. Another gameplay trailer was also revealed after the E3 event, according to a recent report by iDigital Times. Previous trailers were also shown during the 2013 and 2014 E3 events.

New Reports suggested that the new game could be the last project in development by Japanese game developer and director Hideo Kojima.

The new game will focus on the main character Venom Snake with the same gameplay elements, allowing players to sneak behind enemies without being detected.

According to a report, Hideo Kojima explained that the new Metal Gear Solid video game will focus on revenge. Kojima also said in a Tweet, "After watching the E3 trailer of "MGSV TPP" I noticed impressions that say "is it too dark?"

"Try to watch more the actual gameplay video." Kojima added. "The degree of freedom is high. That's the positive tone that I would like to remain in this world. That said, among that gameplay, the story develops darkly."

'Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain' will be released this coming September 1 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is expected to be released for the Microsoft Windows platform on September 15.
