Lebron James hosts Cavs epic Halloween party as Pennywise the Clown

Basketball superstar Lebron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates had some spooky fun during their annual Halloween party that took place Monday night. The players went all out with their costumes, led by James, who went as the scary clown Pennywise.

The party was hosted by four-time MVP James at his home in Akron, Ohio. The team wore varying costumes that ranged from scary to fun, but everyone seemed to have gone all in for the Halloween festivities.

James himself had the scariest outfit as Pennywise the Clown from the "It" films. He also posted a photo of himself in costume on social media, showing the faithful details of the attire, which was complete with red balloons.

Many fans noted that a 6-foot-8, 250-pound killer clown with the superstar's athleticism was indeed very scary.

James' teammates were not far behind in terms of costumes. Kyle Korver came as the modern iteration of Willy Wonka. He even came with a couple of little people who were dressed as Oompa Loompas.

Kevin Love was dressed as the wrestler Sting, while J.R. Smith came as a conehead. Isaiah Thomas' Eazy-E costume was really accurate, nailing even the smallest details like the sunglasses and the Rolex watch.

Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union came wearing with a couple's costume of the R&B duo Milli Vanilli. Another couple who nailed their Halloween costumes was Cavs center Tristan Thompson and his girlfriend Khloe Kardashian, who went as "Game of Thrones" characters Khal Drogo and Daenerys Targaryen.

This is not the first time that the Cavaliers have shown dedication to Halloween. Last year, they also celebrated the festivities while taking shots at the Golden State Warriors for the 3-1 lead that they blew.

This year's party did not have such controversial tones, but it did have some of the most epic costumes of any NBA team.
