Latest NBA rumors involving Bulls, Clippers, Cavaliers, and Knicks

The 2017-2018 season of the NBA is halfway from its entirety with All-Star weekend closing in. A number of trade rumors involving the Chicago Bulls, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, and New York Knicks are making headlines.

There is a big chance that the Bulls might lose power forward Nikola Mirotic to another team. Mirotic had a rough start with the season after suffering an injury during a practice session and in the hands of a teammate to make things worse. Mirotic suffered a facial fracture after being punched by teammate Bobby Portis during the practice. Mirotic is now back in the court and has been efficient for the team in securing wins. According to a report by Chicago Sun Times, Mirotic and his representatives are still looking for a trade deal and are willing to waive Mirotic's no-trade clause to do so. According to reports, Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs, and the Portland Trail Blazers are interested in acquiring the sharpshooter.

The trade rumors about the Cleveland Cavaliers wanting to get big man DeAndre Jordan from the Los Angeles Clippers have resurfaced. The news broke out back in November 2017, but reports suggest that the trade might still be under way. According to Cleveland.com, the Clippers want the 2018 first-round draft pick from the Brooklyn Nets if they are going to let Jordan go to the Cavs with The King, Lebron James.

The Knicks are also in the midst of trade talks with other teams concerning one of its big men. According to the New York Post, the Knicks will agree to trade its center Willy Hernangomez in exchange for a "prime talent." The Knicks are utilizing their rising star Kristaps Porzingis at the moment, and the team is making headway. The team, however, will not give up Hernangomez for an average player. The report has not dropped any teams interested in the Spanish baller.

In other NBA rumors, Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton shut down reports about his job with the organization crumbling. Walton told Lakers Nation when asked about the rumor, "No. I coach as if it's not."
