Kim's decision was the result of her objective to promote her company and to hire the best employees. People said that Kim is looking to establish her company by hiring new people she can build a more professional relationship with. Other than being Kim's personal assistant, Shepherd also served as the Chief Operating Officer of Kardashian West Brands in 2017.

Kim recently launched new perfume products under her fragrance label called KKW Fragrance.

There are still no reports on what Shepherd is up to after leaving Kim's company. According to her Instagram posts, Shepherd is enjoying some relax time in the Big Apple. One of Shepherd's followers said she has the capabilities and resources to start her own business. The comment wrote, "Be your own boss. You have the capabilities."

Shepherd is a former dancer who worked for the Cleveland Cavaliers when she was 18. She moved to Los Angeles to establish a career in dancing, but she became Kim's personal assistant after two interviews instead. Shepherd was also hands on in helping Kim with her daily activities and responsibilities, according to Harper's BAZAAR. Shepherd also had a productive relationship with Kim's husband Kanye.
