Jeremy Lin news: Brooklyn Nets star inspires people with 'be comfortable, being comfortable' message

Brooklyn Nets star Jeremy Lin is still undergoing rehabilitation before his big comeback in the game. The Asian American baller took it to social media to inspire others to strive to be better.

Lin's injury in 2017 is old news, and the cager is looking forward to his return in the hardwood floor. The Nets are currently ranked number 13 in the Eastern Conference division. Lin's point guard skills are a big loss for the Nets, but D'Angelo Russell is holding the fort.

Lin has been very active in showing support for his team and is working hard in his rehabilitation program. Just recently, Nets' number 7 told his supporters that his rehab is going well and that he is pushing forward. He posted a video of himself on Instagram saying, "You know one of the things my head coach Kenny Atkinson loves telling me is 'be comfortable, being uncomfortable.' What that really means is to work on my weaknesses, push myself out of my comfort zone, to be willing to go above and beyond, and that's really the only way that I can get stronger, the only way I can get better, that's what this rehab process is all about."

After his inspiring message, Lin then addressed everyone to work hard to be a lot better than they are yesterday. Lin's video generated a lot of love from his followers and fans. One comment reads, "Thank u soooooo much. I was greatly inspired by these words."

Lin is expected to miss the entire NBA 2017-2018 season to make way for his recovery program. He also underwent a knee surgery back in 2017 to repair his patella tendon after being ruptured. Many of his fans have been expecting for Lin to revive "Linsanity" during the current season. However, it looks like his supporters may have to wait a little longer.
