Actress Jennifer Lawrence sported a brand new haircut when she stepped out in New York City today.

The "Hunger Games" actress grew out her short pixie cut and now sports a wavy bob. See photo here.

Back in November, Lawrence posted a photo of her pixie cut to Facebook, which showed her with much shorter hair dyed in a lighter shade of blonde.

Along with a picture of her new hairdo, Lawrence wrote: "Headed up north for ‪#‎GLOBALFANDAY with The Hunger Games Catching Fire cast. Follow this page all day for updates!"

The 23-year-old actress is expected to begin her promotional tour for the upcoming "X-Men: Days of Future Past" film, set to release worldwide in May.

Earlier this week, it has been announced that the cast will be attending premieres across the world to promote the new film. Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellan, Patrick Stuart, Jennifer Lawrence, Peter Dinklage, Fan Bingbing, Omar Sy, Nicholas Hoult, and Ellen Page will be splitting up to attend world premieres across seven capital cities in one week.

Fox has not revealed which actors and actresses will be attending which premiere, leaving fans to wonder and guess who will turn up in their cities.

Jennifer Lawrence won an Academy Award for Best Actress last year for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook." She was also nominated for another Oscar for Best Supporting Actress but lost to Lupita Nyong'o.
