Earlier this year, "Injustice 2" introduced the upcoming set of three new fighters that will be arriving in the popular fighting game, including the comic book fan favorite Hellboy. Now, the game has given the hero a November release date that fans will be looking forward to.

"Injustice 2" released a video showcasing some of the hard-hitting moves of the red-skinned brawler. The trailer opens with the hero loading up his revolver, which is called The Samaritan. It also shows a closer look at Hellboy, revealing that NetherRealm opted to adopt the animated version of the character's appearance instead of one from the live action movies.

The trailer shows Hellboy fighting Atrocitus, Scarecrow, and Cyborg using his revolver and his signature oversized Right Hand of Doom. The video also shows the new character's super move, wherein he pummels his opponent to hell, then uses a giant axe to deal the final blow.

In terms of attire, "Injustice 2's" Hellboy is dressed very similarly as the character's comic book version, with a trench coat, t-shirt, gloves, kneepads, plus boots. However, this one is wearing shorts instead of the cargo pants that he has worn in prior versions.

As many fans may have guessed, the trailer for Hellboy confirmed that the fighter is a slow brawler-type hero. While he does not have the speed and agility to create lightning-fast combinations, the new fighter makes up for it with powerful blows and the ability to tank a considerable amount of damage.

Hellboy's play style will most likely be similar to other tanks in the game, like Bane or Swamp Thing. However, unlike other tanks, Hellboy will have little problem with zoning or counter-zoning opponents because he can use The Samaritan to fire at an enemy from a distance. This can create space for himself or disrupt opponents' attacks from a distance.

Hellboy will be arriving to "Injustice 2" on Nov. 14.
