Phosphor Games has developed "Heroes Reborn: Gemini," to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC game consoles, and "Heroes Reborn: Enigma," to be released for the iOS and Android mobile operating systems.

The games will be released alongside the premiere of the upcoming 13-episode miniseries "Heroes Reborn," which is scheduled to take off on September 24, according to reports.

Gaming website IGN reports that the two new Heroes games will "act as a prequel" to the Heroes Reborn miniseries.

Game Spot reports that the 'Heroes Reborn: Gemini' is a first-person action adventure video game that puts players into the shoes of a new character called Cassandra, who is capable of controlling time and uses her powers to take on enemies and solve puzzles. On the other hand, "Heroes Reborn: Enigma" will center on Cassandra's little sister Dahlia.

Regarding "Heroes Reborn: Enigma," game designer Brad Santos told IGN: "There are a lot of games that come out these days where they have a key mobile app that kind of tags onto the game in a minor way, and that's not the case here,"

"Our mobile game, Enigma, is a very strong stand-alone product that tells its own story and is really a complete experience in itself. But also, it ties back nicely to our core game, which is Gemini, and the TV series." Santos added.

Reports say a new official trailer is expected to be unveiled this coming July 12. IGN said it was expected to be unveiled during the Comic-Con event in San Diego, California.

Phosphor Games is a software design studio formed initially by former staffers of Midway Games. Its published games include "Batman: Arkham Origins," "Man of Steel," "WWE Immortals" and "World War Z."
