The highly anticipated Game of Thrones season 4 will be returning to HBO this Sunday.

Game of Thrones season 4 will premiere its first episode titled "Two Swords" on Sunday, April 6, 2014.

The official synopsis for Sunday's premiere is as follows: "Tyrion welcomes a guest to King's Landing. At Castle Black, Jon Snow finds himself unwelcome. Dany is pointed to Meereen, the mother of all slave cities. Arya runs into an old friend."

HBO has released new stills of scenes from "Two Swords" and other upcoming episodes.

The preview video for the premiere episode (seen below) shows Daenerys leading her army of soldiers.

Game of Thrones Season 4, Episode 1 will be airing Sunday, April 6, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO, or alternatively can be watched online through live stream with HBO Go and HBO Connect.
