The much anticipated hack-and-slash action game, "Fire Emblem Warriors," will be released today for the Nintendo Switch and 3DS. With its launch, Nintendo is also giving a bonus for its fans with a free Japanese voice pack.

The voice pack will allow users to experience the game with Japanese voice audio and English subtitles. The Japanese audio will add a different experience to the game, which is part of a franchise that started out with Japanese-only games.

The game will also come with a free software update that will add battle results to the game's history mode and will include a new sorting feature for players' inventory.

In "Fire Emblem Warriors," players will be able to portray their favorite heroes from previous "Fire Emblem" titles and team them up to battle against hordes of enemies in order to accomplish various goals and complete levels.

Most of the characters included in "Fire Emblem Warriors" are taken from popular titles like "Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light," "Fire Emblem Awakening," and "Fire Emblem Fates."

The title will also release three downloadable content (DLC) packs, which will add more characters from these three "Fire Emblem" games.

The Fates DLC will add Azura, Niles and Oboro, while the Shadow Dragon DLC will introduce Navarre, Linde, and Minerva. The Awakening DLC, on the other hand, will add Owain, Olivia, and Tharja.

"Whether you are a super fan of the Fire Emblem franchise, new to the series or played and loved the previously released Hyrule Warriors game, Fire Emblem Warriors offers a fantastic adventure filled with great gameplay," Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said in an article from Nintendo. "The action-filled game is another solid addition to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo 3DS lineups."

"Fire Emblem Warriors" is available for Nintendo Switch for $59.99, and for Nintendo 3DS, 3DS XL, and 2DS XL for $39.99.
