The finale of the Bachelorette 2013 ended with Desiree Hartsock accepting a proposal from Chris Siegfried.

On Monday night's finale, Hartsock became happily engaged to Siegfried after last week's emotional episode where her first choice Brooks Forester dumped her, leaving her devastated.

The happy pair has discussed their wedding plans to Good Morning America and LIVE With Kelly and Michael.

Hartsock, 27, said on GMA, "I will marry him tomorrow if I could. When I knew, I just knew." She spoke of Forester's sudden departure from the show after she declared that she loved him. "Sometimes you have to get through the hard to get to the good. I think that helped me, getting past the hurt of Brooks leaving and being able to see all that was clear in Chris."

Siegfried said on GMA that they have seen Forester after he left the show in Antigua. "It was totally fine. Brooks and I are friends. It was good to see him. I feel like that day in Antigua we were able to be so honest, that that was the closure. Seeing him was nice."

Hartsock told Michael Strahan and guest co-host Erin Andrews of Live with Kelly and Michael that they would like to get married in the summer. "We would like to get married in the summer -- next summer," she said. However, she revealed that they want to keep the wedding intimate, so the wedding may not be filmed for ABC.

She also told the hosts that she has no ill feelings for Forester. "That's the beauty of this whole experience: the feelings are really accelerated, because you do get to know these guys in a really short amount of time, and that's actually what helped me get past the hurt."

Siegfried revealed that he actually has not watched the scene where Hartsock was left devastated by Forester's departure. . "We came to the agreement that we would only watch the best parts of our journey."

The Bachelorette star said, "Our past and what happened on the show doesn't really define our future."
