Dancing with the Stars season 18 will finally announce a winner tonight after one of the best seasons.

Last night, viewers were sad to see the shocking elimination of favorites James Maslow and Peta Mrgatroyd. However, the pair bowed out gracefully, with James telling the audience that he has had an amazing experience on the show. "I enjoyed this more than I ever thought possible," he said.

Now only three pairs remain in tonight's finals: Candace Cameron-Bure and Mark Ballas, Meryl Davis and Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Amy Purdy and Derek Hough.

Despite a shoulder injury, Mark Ballas was on stage Monday night to dance with partner Candace Cameron-Bure. He had a cast for one of his dances and explained that he was cleared to dance by his doctor. The pair scored 27 for their quickstep dance, followed by 24 points for their disco-type routine. The scored the lowest of the night with a total of 51 points, ending up at the bottom of the leaderboard.

On Monday's final performances, James and Peta scored a total of 29 points out of 30 for their tango. Their freestyle routine also earned them 29 points, with their total for the night being 58 points.

Meryl and Maks scored a perfect score of 30 for their Argentine tango and another perfect score for their freestyle, ending up with the highest possible score of 60. Their freestyle routine was called the "dance of the night" by judge Len.

Amy and Derek's performance of energetic salsa dance earned them a perfect 30. Their freestyle dance brought audiences to their feet, earning them 29 points.

Who will triumph as the winner of the Mirrorball Trophy tonight? Candace Cameron-Bure, Meryl Davis or Amy Purdy?

The two-hour DWTS season 18 finale will begin at 9 p.m. on ABC. A special "The Road to the Finals" will air at 8 p.m., which will be followed by the two-hour finale. Along with a number of exciting performances, viewers will also see Olympic ice-dance gold medalists Charlie White and Meryl Davis dancing (not on ice!) for the first time.
