'Camila' album news: Camila Cabello and fans excited for the release of her debut album as a solo artist

Fans of the Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello got a little taste of Cabello's upcoming album in 2018. The singer started the countdown until the release of her debut solo album "Camila."

Cabello took it to Twitter to tease her fans with 31 seconds of his new single, "Never Be the Same." The artist captioned the post with, "and so it begins.... Ready? One of my favorite songs from the album and the next single: Track #1." Fans are quick to show some love for the 20-year-old singer and for her newfound success in the industry. "Never Be the Same" will be at the helm of Cabello's album to be released on Jan. 12, 2018. The album will be released under Epic Records, Syco Music, and Sony Music.

"Camila" is composed of 10 songs in total including "Never Be the Same," "Real Friends," and Cabello's hit track "Havana" featuring Young Thug. "Havana" remains at the number 3 spot at Billboard's Hot 100 list. During an interview with OfficialCharts, Cabello said, "Havana has been the defiant song. Me and my team always believed in it." The artist also revealed that "Havana" opened new doors for her in the industry. "It's made me want to write more songs and it's showed me that I should trust my gut more," she added.

Cabello recently released a music video of her song "Never Be the Same" dedicated to his loved ones and fans. The video highlights Cabello's childhood with her family, time with fans, and extent of her career as a worldwide artist.

The former Fifth Harmony member also thanked her fans for their support through Twitter. "I frickin love you all so much and PS my family and I cried several times watching this back. IT'S END OF THE YEAR EMO TIME," she tweeted.

"Camila" is one of the most-anticipated album releases of 2018.
