'Brooklyn Nine Nine' spoilers: Detectives to revisit the Skyfire fantasy world in episode 8

The next episode of Fox's comedy series "Brooklyn Nine Nine" will have the detectives wearing costumes. The eighth episode of season 5 will air on Nov. 28 at 9:30 p.m. on Fox. The most recent episode, "Two Turkeys," ended with Jake Peralta's (Andy Samberg) father Roger (Bradley Whitford) cutting off his own finger during Thanksgiving dinner.

Episode 8 titled "Return to Skyfire" is about anoter DC Parlov's (Fred Melamed) case. The author goes to the 99 precinct to report about his stolen manuscript. The detectives then go undercover at a fantasy convention to arrest the suspect. The character of DC Parlov first appeared in season 4's eighth episode titled "Skyfire Circle."

A sneak peek promo of the next episode was released and it shows Jake in an elf costume.

The latest episode last Tuesday is season 5's Thanksgiving episode with the parents of Jake and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) getting together. A side story of the episode highlighted the detective skills of Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker) and Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) in finding a lost pie. The seventh episode also featured a lot of guest characters like Captain Holt's (Andre Braugher) husband Kevin Cozner (Marc Evan Jackson) and Jake's mother Karen (Katey Sagal). Santiago's parents, Victor Santiago (Jimmy Smits) and Camilla Santiago (Bertila Damas), also joined the episode.

The ninth episode of season 5, "99," is a jam-packed episode with different story angles. The main story of "99" is about Holt's dream to be a Chief Commissioner of the New York Police Department. The episode will also feature members of the Boyle clan. 

There are no further mentions or reference about "Broolyn Nine Nine's" new villain, Seamus Murphy (Paul Adelstein). The new character's connection to the 99<sup>th precinct and motive are still unknown.
