Black Friday sales: The best deals on gaming consoles PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch

With Thanksgiving and Black Friday only days away, consumers are being bombarded with ads showcasing some great deals for the shopping season. For gamers looking to upgrade their hardware or those who wish to give their loved ones some gaming-related present for the holidays, here are some of the best deals for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

With Microsoft releasing the Xbox One X, the upgraded version of the Xbox One, the older version has been put to the sidelines. This means that this shopping season, there will be plenty of deals for the Xbox One S.

The 500 GB version of the console is available for only $189.99 from a regular price of $279.99. Some retailers offer the discount on their physical store only, while others have the offer in their physical store as well as online.

Microsoft itself is offering the console at the same price, but it will throw in a one-month Xbox Game Pass trial and one game from a collection of five Ubisoft titles namely, "Assassin's Creed The Ezio Collection," "Hasbro Family Fun Pack," "Just Dance 2018," "Steep," or "Watch Dogs 2 Gold Edition."

Since Sony did not release any new hardware this year, most of its PlayStation line of consoles will be getting markdowns. The best deal on the PlayStation is for the PS4 1TB Slim, which will be offered by many retailers for $199.99 from a regular price of $299.99.

Costco, on the other hand, will be offering the console for $10 less at only $189.99, and will throw in an extra controller with the system. It will also offer a bundle that includes the 1TB console, along with popular games "Destiny 2" and "Call of Duty: WWII" for only $289.99.

Nintendo's hardware, meanwhile, is very popular and continues to be hard to find. The Nintendo Switch, while still on its $299.99 price, will be a great holiday find for any consumer who can get one.
