Car manufacturer Audi unveiled its brand new 2019 Audi A7 Sportback, which features stylish next generation upgrades similar to the recently introduced A8 flagship car.
According to Audi, the 2019 A7 is a combination of a coupe, a sedan, and a station wagon. The new car will be arriving with a mild hybrid system and a V6 3-liter engine. The car is equipped with a 48-volt electrical system and a lithium-ion battery.
Like the A8, the A7 is reminiscent of the Prologue Concept car introduced by the company in 2014.
"The A7 Sportback represents the new Audi design language to a great extent and delivers on the design promise made by the prologue studies," the company said in a press release. "The four-door coupe sets standards in the luxury class when it comes to progressiveness. It embodies a new style of Gran Turismo, with dynamic lines, systematic digitalization, a sporty driving experience and a versatile space concept."
Design-wise, the A7 has a sporty look featuring large surfaces with sharp edges and athletic lines. On its front, the Singleframe grille can be seen, as well as air inlets and narrow headlights. The rear of the car features an integrated spoiler that automatically extends once the car runs at speeds of about 75 mph.
Once it becomes available next year, the new A7 will be come in 15 different colors, eight of them being new. There will also be an optional S line package that will include modifications to the car's exterior.
The new car's interior offers a combination of clean and sporty design language. It features a large 10.1-inch upper display that houses Audi's infotainment system. There will also be an 8.6-inch lower display for climate control and text input.
The car will also feature a remote parking and remote garage pilot that will autonomously move the car out of its parking space. This will be possible with Audi's radar sensors, cameras, laser scanners, and ultrasonic sensors.
The 2019 Audi A7 Sportback will launch in Germany in February 2018.
