The ZenFone 2 Deluxe was unveiled along with other new devices such as the ZenFone 2 Laser and the ZenPad tablet.

Here's the difference between the new ZenFone 2 Deluxe and its predecessor, the ZenFone 2, in terms of the specifications and features. Much of the specs for the ZenFone 2 Deluxe are similar to the previous model.

The ZenFone 2 Deluxe will sport the same 5.5-inch IPS capacitive display screens with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolutions found in ZenFone 2. The upcoming device, like its predecessor, will also be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and run on the same Android 5.0 version Lollipop operating system (OS). In addition, it will have 13-megapixel primary camera on the back and 5-megapixel camera on the front, which the ZenFon 2 also has.

The ZenFone 2 is available in two versions. Under the hood, one of these versions comes with an Intel Atom Z3560 processor and 2GB RAM, while the other has an Intel Atom Z3580 processor and 4GB RAM. They provide up to 64GB built-in memory storage.

On the other hand, the new ZenFone 2 Deluxe will either have an Intel Atom Z3580 or an Intel Atom Z3560 processor as well, along with 4GB RAM, according to GSM Arena. Similar to its predecessor, it will also pack a whopping 3,000 mAh batteries.

What separates these two phones apart is the ZenFone 2 Deluxe polygonal design. According to Vine Report, the design integrates more than 500 white, red, and blue triangles in order to create a crystal-like finish on the back.

In addition, the internal memory storage for the new ZenFone 2 Deluxe can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The previous model can only be expanded up to 64GB space.
