After an episode all about Brisket, Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) will finally stumble upon Schrodinger's Cat on the next one. Episode 8 of CBS' television series "Young Sheldon" will air on later at 8:30 p.m. on ABC, and this is what fans can expect.

The upcoming episode is titled "Cape Canaveral, Schrodinger's Cat, and Cyndi Lauper's Hair." According to the title of the episode, Sheldon will finally find out the origin of Schrodinger's Cat. The Schrodinger's Cat experiment has been mentioned a lot in the sitcom "The Big Bang Theory." The older Sheldon (Jim Parsons) even made use of the experiment to help Leonard (Johnny Galecki) with his first date with Penny (Kaley Cuoco).

Not much has been revealed about the Schrodinger's Cat story angle and how it will be utilized. The promo video of the episode shows the origin of Sheldon's bathroom schedule. It was revealed that it was Mary (Zoe Perry) who first arranged Sheldon's bathroom schedule.

Also on the next episode, the boys of the Cooper household will take a trip to see the space shuttle launch at Cape Canaveral. George Sr. (Lance Barber) is looking for ways to bond with Sheldon. While George Sr., Sheldon, and Georgie (Montana Jordan) are on the road, the gals will have a girls' weekend at the salon.

In episode 7, George Sr. and Meemaw (Annie Potts) had a disagreement, and Mary tried to mend the relationship. On the next episode, Meemaw and Mary are the ones in conflict prior to Mary's childhood. In the promo video, Mary is having an argument with Meemaw about not always being there for her and her siblings.

The previous episode, "A Brisket, Voodoo, and Cannonball Run," generated more viewers compared to episode 6. According to Tv By The Numbers, the seventh episode got 12.49 million viewers and the sixth one got 12.11.

"Young Sheldon" season 1 episode 8 will air today, Dec. 14, at 8:30 p.m. on ABC.
