Five Xbox video games are available for a limited time only this January as a new year treat for gamers with Xbox Gold subscription. Three of the video games are already available for downloading for free, and the two more will hit the Xbox Store store on the third week of January.

The free downloading promo started back on Dec. 16, 2017 with the episodic adventure video game "Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition." This title can now be downloaded for free for Gold members until Jan. 15. The video game inspired from the "Back to the Future" movie franchise generated good reviews from game critics. The game got a 9 out of 10 score from Steam and a 7.5 out of 10 from GameSpot.

The video game "The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III" based on Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula" is also available for free. The NeocoreGames video game is included in the promo from Jan. 1 to 31.

Xbox One gamers can enjoy killing zombies scattered all over London with "Zombi." The game will be sold for free starting on Jan. 16 until Feb. 15.

Two titles for the Xbox 360 home console are in the roster. The year 2018 started off good for gamers with "Tomb Raider: Underworld" for free. The Underworld edition is the eighth installment to the Tomb Raider video game series.

Completing the list of Xbox Gold's January promo is the third-person shooter video game "Army of Two" by Visceral Games. Free games are nothing new for Xbox Gold subscribers, given that free titles are offered every month by the Xbox store.

Other video games like "Reus," "Forza Horizon 3 Blizzard Mountain," and more are offered to Gold gamers with their price rates slashed.
