'WWE' rumors: Wyatt compound to be rebuilt for Wyatt vs Woken; John Cena favored to win Rumble in 2018

The WWE company is looking to end 2017 with a bang. There have been several rumors involving the Wyatt family, Shane McMahon, and the top prospect to win the upcoming Royal Rumble in 2018.

Few publications indicate that WWE might consider fortifying the Wyatt family compound. There have been discussions about a potential match between Bray Wyatt and Matt Hardy who is now Woken. WWE has been cooking up another gimmick involving the Woken Warriors and Wyatt Swarm. Woken is Hardy's other persona who appears to be weird, talkative, and fun. The Wyatt compound turned to ashes after The Viper, aka Randy Orton, burned it to the ground in February. It has not been confirmed yet, but a match might go down in the compound between the darkness (Wyatt) and light (Hardy).

Another rumor making noise is the potential beef between Daniel Bryan and general manager Shane McMahon. The two last met in the ring on Nov. 28 and shook on a no disqualification match between Orton and Kevin Owens.

Finally, one of the biggest rumors of 2017 about to end is the top favorite to win the Royal Rumble in 2018. WWE Leaks recently published the Royal Rumble winner odds, and at the top of the list is WWE superstar John Cena. Next to Cena is Roman Reigns and Shinsuke Nakamura. Included on the list are also Aj Styles and Seth Rollins. The Royal Rumble match of 2018 will go down on Jan. 28. WWE has not confirmed any surprise competitors yet or if there would be returning legends.

In other news concerning the WWE universe, there have already been several reports saying that Rich Swann has already been released from jail after his arrest last Sunday. The professional wrestler was arrested for simple battery and false imprisonment. However, his suspension still stands, and there are still no updates from the wrestling company about his return.
