The long awaited return of the Robertson family is sure to bring in huge ratings, especially after the controversy over Phil Robertson's homosexual remarks which prompted A&E to briefly suspend him from the show.

Most of season 5 has been shot before the controversy last month, but nonetheless millions are sure to tune in to show their support for the Robertson family. It is not known whether last month's controversy will play out in the reality show.

Tonight's premiere episode is expected to draw million s of viewers and could break season 4 premiere ratings record of nearly 12 million viewers.
