'The Big Bang Theory' spoilers: Sheldon and Amy conduct yet another secret experiment on their friends

Season 11 of television sitcom "The Big Bang Theory" will return on Jan. 4, 2018 with a new episode. Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) and Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik) once again perform a secret experiment with their best friends as test subjects.

The midseason finale ended with the annual Coitusversary of Sheldon and Amy. Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) also managed to settle their issue and decided to go back to being best friends.

In the 12<sup>th episode of season 11, Sheldon and Amy will conduct a series of experiments among their friends to see who is the most qualified to be the best man and maid of honor.

As shown in the promotional photos of the episode, it appears that the gang will catch the couple-to-be red-handed. The competition for best man is down to Howard, Raj, Leonard (Johnny Galecki), and Sheldon's big brother Georgie. Looks like Stuart (Kevin Sussman) is once again left out of the group. According to the episode's description, Penny (Kaley Cuoco) will have some big revelations about her best friend Amy.

Episode 12 titled "The Matrimonial Metric" will air on Jan. 4, 2018 at 8 p.m. ETS on CBS. The 13<sup>th episode, titled "The Solo Oscillation," will then air on Jan. 11, 2018.

According to TV by The Numbers, episode 11 of season 11 generated over 13.74 million viewers.

"The Big Bang Theory" and its spin-off series "Young Sheldon" tied at number 7 on the Top 25 Programs of 2017 list by Media Village. The entire production team and cast of the two series were applauded by both critics and fans. Showrunner of the two series Chuck Lorre was commended by Media Village for continuing to provide creative and humorous sitcoms.

"The Big Bang Theory" received an 8.3 out of 10 score from IMDb. Rotten Tomatoes gave "Young Sheldon" a 75 percent score rating.
