Pop superstar Taylor Swift has announced the first leg of her "Reputation" tour. The singer will be performing in 27 North American cities starting in May 2018.

The tour will kick off on May 8, 2018 at Glendale, Arizona. Swift will be touring across the nation for five months and will perform in different stadiums throughout the trip. She is set to conclude the tour on Oct. 6 at Arlington, Texas.

The singer has not announced her opening acts for the tour, nor has the price of the tickets been revealed. However, the singer's website did provide the date of availability for the tickets.

Ticketmaster will begin selling the tickets on Dec. 13. Those who wish to get their hands on tickets at an earlier time can now register for pre-sale through Ticketmaster's Verified Fan platform. The registration will be ongoing until Nov. 28.

Swift started hinting at a tour for "Reputation" ever since she launched the first single from the album, "Look What You Made Me Do" in August. Back then, she announced that she would be partnering with Ticketmaster's Verified Fan platform, which will play a key role in preventing scalpers and bots from purchasing lots of tickets only to resell them at a higher price.

Fans of the "...Ready For It?" singer living outside the U.S. will also have an opportunity to catch her live performances, as the artist's website promises additional tour dates in the U.K., Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia.

Swift just released "Reputation" on Friday, and the album is already being projected to become the highest-selling album of 2017. It is set to beat Ed Sheeran's "Divide" album, which is currently the best-selling album of the year at 900,000 copies sold. During its first day, the new album sold over 700,000 copies and is on its way to sell over 1.5 million copies by the end of its first week.
