Switchfoot’s 'Dare You To Move' Video

"I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before..."

“...I recently had a kid come up to me and give me a big hug because he was so affected by ‘Dare You To Move’ (from The Beautiful Letdown). Apparently, he was going through some really rough times and wasn’t sure if he wanted to live anymore, but heard the song and was inspired,” says Jon Foreman of Switchfoot.

Did you hear that, folks? Now THIS is what makes Christian music different from secular music!

Nothing can change mankind but the power of God’s love, and Switchfoot seems to have proved that with their music.

Their latest hit from The Beautiful Letdown: “Dare You To Move”, (by Jon Foreman) recently released its new video on Launch.com.

Like “Meant To Live”, the video “Dare You To Move” displays scenes of a young man who seems to be lost in the world and searching for the meaning of life. Jon Foreman movingly leads the vocals, passion ringing in his voice... overall it is a very inspiring movie.

Switchfoot has a desire to change many people with their music. God sure is fulfilling their dreams, because their songs are influencing thousands today into the GOOD!

“Switchfoot gets people to search for their meaning of existence. Instead of recklessly living a mundane life everyday, they start searching for the truth. Eventually they start digging into the bible,” Samuel Kim, leader of a Christian fellowship at UCLA says.

Yes, it is true. Music has a great influence in our daily lives. It influences the way we talk, think, and act. So, let us be the ones to listen to music that will help us with our relationship with God!
