Stephen Curry's wife Ayesha credits Christian faith for helping family move on from NBA loss: 'Nothing is ever really that bad'

It seems like the Golden State Warriors' fans took the team's loss during the NBA finals this year worse than point guard Stephen Curry's own wife Ayesha did, since the Christian wife has learned to rely on God to make any bad situation better.

"My faith is a foundation of everything that I do. It's what keeps our family strong and it's what keeps us going on a daily basis," Ayesha tells Haute Living. "It's what makes the losses okay. Nothing is ever really that bad."

Ayesha admits she does not have many words to say about her husband's loss, and while it is painful, the budding chef stresses "there is a bigger picture."

"It was such a long season that it was bittersweet. You do what you can," she says. "Sometimes the outcome is not what you want it to be, and that's what happened in this case. But life goes on. There is always an opportunity to do it again."

Despite Ayesha's positive words, Steph is still reeling from his team's loss.  Steph says he took a lot of responsibility for the team's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, since he could have performed better. Even though the loss won't hold him down forever, Steph thinks he will carry it around for the rest of his life.

"I haven't gotten over it at all. I mean, it's something that will live with you forever," Curry confesses to ESPN. "Game 7 was a tough pill to swallow."

Hopefully, this will only make him more determined to perform better next time around.

"We're gonna hopefully come back stronger and better than we were this year, hopefully put ourselves in to a position to be playing for another championship and get the job done," he says.
