Electronic Arts released a new update for its latest video game "Star Wars Battlefront II." Gamers can now enjoy the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" content in the game, which brings new playable characters and more.

Patch 1.0 update is launched to welcome and celebrate the latest installment in the "Star Wars" movie franchise. The patch not only adds new heroes but also fixes a few issues with the gameplay and other characters. EA wrote, "This patch is quite action packed with new content inspired by Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie. On top of the new content we've made a major balance pass for Heroes. There are also some much-awaited improvements to game stability as well as improved logic to detect idling players."

Member of the Resistance Finn is now a playable character as well as First Order's Captain Phasma. Rey also becomes a playable character from the start. The patch also brings back the character of Iden Versio with the new DLC campaign "Resurrection." The campaign adds three new chapters following Versio's adventure in the Star Wars universe.

Gamers can also enjoy two new maps in the game, Crait from the Galactic Assault and D'Qar from the Starfighter Assault situated at the Resistance's headquarters from "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Patch 1.0 also adds Tallie's A Wing in the vehicle roster.

"Star Wars Battlefront II's" live team also adds new features and upgrades to specific characters in the game. For example, Yoda's dash damage increased from 100 to 130. Chewbacca's Bowcaster's fire rate, power, and number of blasters are also improved. Darth Maul's Furious Throw ability can now inflict damage to vehicles and objectives. Darth Vader's Choke ability that can one-shot an enemy is also fixed.

Server lag and micro-stuttering are minimized for large game modes. The Last Jedi update also polishes all other bugs and issues in the general gameplay of "Star Wars Battlefront II."
