Singing Soldiers invaded New Delhi

When soldiers are in action, we expect victory in any battle. Therefore, when YMCA’s Christian Emphasis called in 'Singing Soldiers' to the singing battlefield as it organized gospel music concert on last Friday, the battle was won too.

A handful of believers attended the gospel music concert organized by Christian Emphasis, one body of YMCA, New Delhi on March 19, 2004 at the lawn of the YMCA tourist hostel.

The concert begun with prayer and the Guest Speaker Pastor Wilson Marks of Lott Carey Baptist Mission Church delivered the word of God based on John 12:32-36 in Hindi. Most of the songs presented were in Hindi which was even more dearer to the heart and taste of the audience.

It was truly pleasant to be in that kind of tmosphere. This kind of concert identifies the presence of beautiful Christian culture among the diverse Indian
culture. Indeed, India needs such type of concert frequently and Delhi in particular.
