Running Towards the Goal

Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is, because the kingdom of God is within you."
- (Luke 17:20-21 NIV)

What is the goal of our lives?

|PIC1|Motivational speaker, Mark Victor Hansen, said, "Setting goals is one of the most important things you can do to guarantee your personal, professional and financial success. Goals are like a road map to your target destination. Each goal accomplished is another mile behind you on the way to where you want to be."

We often say that a life without goals is meaningless, and wandering...the most important thing we can achieve in our lives is discovering first the ultimate goal that has been set by our Father God, then establishing shorter term goals to fulfil that.

This is exactly what Jesus was trying to tell the Pharisees. Don't ask when the Kingdom will come but first look at yourselves and renew the purpose of your lives...

"Dear God, please help me to discover your Purpose for me more each day, and find within me a greater dream that you have placed there. Let me set down the specific goals to achieve this, and with your help, allow me to fulfill them with Love. Thanking you always. In the name of Jesus Christ, we prayed. Amen."
