Rosemary Anderson High School shooting in Portland, Oregon; 3 shot, suspects on the run

A shooting has been reported at Rosemary Anderson School in Portland, Oregon.

The suspects in the shooting that took place this afternoon are said to have fled the scene. Five gunshots were heard in quick succession, according to The Oregonian.

The incident is not being treated as an "active shooter" and is believed to be gang-related.

One male student was reportedly shot in the back, with another female student shot in the chest. Another victim was also shot. The shooting victims have been taken to nearby Emanual Hospital where they are being treated for wounds.

The school is currently in lockdown and residents are advised to stay away from the area as police hunt the suspects.

Rosemary Anderson High School is Portland OIC's community-based alternative high school, in operation since 1983, and accredited by the NW Accreditation Commission.

Enrolling up to 190 students annually at our North Killingsworth location, our at-risk students have either been expelled or dropped out of public high school and many are homeless. RAHS provides open-door year round access to the "last chance" to complete a high school education, and is currently achieving a 90% graduation rate amongst students who enroll and attend classes.
