The November 10 release date for the Rise of the Tomb Raider video game has been confirmed at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 press conference.

As part of the popular Tomb Raider franchise, the new "Rise of the Tomb Raider" game is a sequel to the 2013 video game, and is expected to be launched for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One gaming consoles.

A recent report by Game Debate cites new rumors suggesting the game will also be made available to other platforms such as PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows at a later time, possibly before the end of next year.

According to the rumors, the video game will be released for the PS4 by mid-2016 at a low price of $40. According to reports, these rumors came from The Know's Youtube channel who says its source is reliable.

The new action adventure video game has been in development by game developer Crystal Dynamics, now a subsidiary of the Japanese gaming company Square Enix, developed the game, which was introduced to the public about a year ago through an official trailer about the game.

A demonstration for the new game at E3 2015 showed gameplay features similar to that of the previous video game.

Rise of The Tomb Raider will have a realistic gameplay environment that includes a "weather system". Weapons such as Lara Croft's pistol and the bow and arrow will reportedly return to the game, which will include new stealth capabilities.

The storyline focuses on Lara's survival and obsession to seek the truth about the mysteries of immortality and world myths. It takes place sometime after the events of the 2013 Tomb Raider game.
