"Ascent: Infinite Realm" is an upcoming MMORPG from Bluehole.

Bluehole, the developer behind the massively successful "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG)," has announced its next title, "Ascent: Infinite Realm." The game is an online role-playing game with high fantasy and steampunk elements

Bluehole has released a 5-minute trailer for the game, and it shows the ridiculous amount of different elements that can be seen by players. There's a large amount of steampunk design with some classic sword and sorcery. The video also shows some mecha gameplay, fights against giant, dinosaur-like creatures, as well as lots of air-to-air combat. At one point, it shows a house being built and a character tending to plants.

Unfortunately, the trailer was released with very low framerate, which has already turned off many viewers. However, the success of the studio's "PUBG" is a reminder that Bluehole should never be underestimated.

Unlike the first-person shooter "PUBG," "Ascent: Infinite Realm" or "A:IR," is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The game is published by Black Desert Online's Kakao Games.

According to Bluehole, "A:IR" will employ a realm versus realm combat that will feature the airships in the trailer. "Vehicles and mounts in 'A:IR' serve more than just the purpose of transportation," said the developer. "They will also provide adventurers with the ultimate battle experience: 'A:IR's' Realm vs Realm PvP mode."

The game's newly launched website details the five different character classes that are available to players. These are the sorceress, which specializes in attack power; the Warlord, which is the game's tank; the Assassin, which deals heavy critical damage; the Gunslinger, which uses long range skills; and the Mystic, which specializes in healing and powers of nature.

The beta version of "Ascent: Infinite Realm" will be released in the first half of 2018. Only then will Bluehole find out if it would score another runaway hit with this new MMORPG.
