PlayStation Plus offers diverse lineup of free games for November

A new month has begun, and that means there is a new lineup of free games that subscribers of Sony's PlayStation Plus service can access. This month, there will be seven wildly different free games that will be available for Sony gaming platforms PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation VR, and PlayStation VR starting Nov. 7.

Fans who enjoy action games will be excited to know that "Worms Battlegrounds" is available for free this this month for the PS4. The game is a two-dimensional artillery turn-based tactics game, wherein a team of worms take turns to use various weapons and skills to defeat the members of the opposing team.

For those who prefer artistic and original indie games, the aesthetic-driven video game "Bound" may also be accessed by PS Plus members for free. The game was released for PS4 last year and features a ballet dancer as the main character who locates surreal and dreamy environments.

Players who own a PS VR headset will have a thrilling time with the horror title "Until Dawn: Rush of Blood." This arcade survival first person shooter will surely extend fans' Halloween experience. The game will be available to members starting Nov. 7 until Jan. 2.

PS3 gamers will also have the side-scrolling arcade shooter "R-Type Dimensions," as well as the fighting game "Rag Doll Kung Fu: Fists of Plastic," where players take control puppets and fight using them.

Users of the handheld PS Vita will not be left wanting, as they will also get the old school arcade game "Dungeon Punks," as well as the first two episodes of "Broken Sword 5: The Serpent's Curse."

PS Plus members also get twice the discount on Sony's current markdowns. "Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 Remix" is on 40 percent discount, "Mega Man Legacy Collection 2" has 30 percent, and "Horizon Zero Dawn" is on 44 percent discount. These discounts will last until Nov. 7.
