PUBG Corporation CEO Chang Han Kim hopes to bring the multiplayer online video game "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" to PlayStation 4 players as well. PUBG is one of the most successful video games to be released in 2017.

Kim did not confirm any information if the video game is indeed coming to the PS4 during an interview with InvenGlobal. But he mentioned that the company is open to developing PUBG on all platforms. "As it's going to be an exclusive title on Xbox for some time, we'd like to focus on completing he Xbox One PUBG for now. If we have the opportunity, the final goal would be to launch the title on every platform."

Kim also shared their reaction after securing the Best Multiplayer Award from the Game Awards last December 2017. PUBG won the category and was up against "Fortnite," "Call of Duty: World War II," "Splatoon 2," "Mario Kart 8 Deluxe," and "Destiny 2."

"We thought it was going to be the other game. 'Well, the wall of the TGA really is high,' that's what we thought... the outcome turned out to be even greater than we anticipated," he said.

The video game also won other awards from different organizations. Esports Industry Awards recognized PUBG as the Breakthrough Game of the Year in 2017. The video was also the recipient of the Best Multiplayer Game and PC Game of the Year awards from the Golden Joystick Awards 2017 by GamesRadar.

"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" was also nominated for the Game of the Year award by The Game Awards. However, Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" took the award home.

Video game critics also applauded PUBG for its extensive gameplay setting and are speculating about the video game's future in the eSport industry. Polygon gave the video game a perfect score rating of 10.
