Fast and Furious 7 star Paul Walker was honored at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, April 13.

Jordana Brewster, who plays Mia in the Fast and Furious franchise, gave a tribute speech for Paul Walker at the award show.

The actor posthumously won MTV's Best On-Screen Duo award with Vin Diesel for their performance in Fast & Furious 6.

The late actor, who died in a tragic car accident in November last year, was featured in a moving tribute at the award ceremony.

Walker was in the middle of filming the 7th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise at the time of his unexpected death.

"Paul's humanity and kindness clearly showed through every role. We're honored to be able to spend a moment in this year's Movie Awards to celebrate him," said MTV President Stephen Friedman.

Filming was halted for four months until producers decided what to make of Walker's Brian O'Conner character.

There are reports that O'Conner will 'retire' in the film, rather than being killed off, but that has not been confirmed by creators.

It has been reported that screenwriter Chris Morgan has completely rewritten the script following the sudden death of Walker.

Filming resumed in April, with CGI and body doubles being used to complete the film. An insider told the Daily News: "They have hired four actors with bodies very similar to Paul's physique and they will be used for movement and as a base. Paul's face and voice will be used on top using CGI."

Prior to commencing filming of Fast and Furious 7 earlier this month, actor Tyrese Gibson said that the cast will honor Walker with a prayer. He told TooFab: "God's grace is all we have. Before we start filming we are going to have a strong prayer. That will be the start, before we film anything. That's what is needed for us to do Fast & Furious 7. This is the only movie I ever worked on where we are all real close even after the movie is over. It wasn't just losing a co-star, he was family for real. That's why it took so long to recover."

The film, originally slated for a 2014 release, will not be released on April 10, 2015.

Meanwhile, the custody battle for Walker's 15-year-old daughter Meadow has been resolved between Walker's mother Cheryl and Rebecca Soteros.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
