A brand new trailer video has been released by One Direction for their upcoming "This is Us" movie documentary.
The documentary of the highly successful British boyband is set to premiere in the U.S. on Aug. 24 in New York.
The new clip was released by MTV earlier today and shows the band in rehearsal as they work with choreographers and perfect their dance moves. Their choreographer says to the camera, "They hate dancing with a passion. It really takes it to a whole sort of different level."
Zayn Malik says, "When people say you're in a boy band, I'm like, 'Yeah, I am, but I'm in a cool boy band.'"
The UK premiere of 'This is Us' took place Aug. 20, which drew thousands of 1D fans to London's Leicester Square.
But there was only so much space to fit the thousands of 1D fans onto the red carpet as Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson made their way onto the scene.
Following the U.S. premiere this Saturday, the movie will hit theaters on Aug. 30. The band is slated to make an appearance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, where they have been nominated for Best Song of the Summer for their hit "Best Song Ever."
In other 1D news, Zayn Malik recently got engaged to girlfriend Perrie Edwards. Edwards is a member of Little Mix, another band made successful by Simon Cowell's X-Factor, Her brother Jonnie Edwards confirmed the engagement via Twitter. "Right. My sister and Zayn ARE Engaged! It's true! You seen the ring on the finger and all that Jazz! CONGRATS!!!"
Edwards, 20, showed off her engagement ring when she hit the red carpet at the London premiere of 1D's documentary. Malik, also 20, reportedly proposed to Edwards last weekend. The pair have dated for two years.
A source told The Mirror: "It's one of the first weekends they've spent with each other, as they've both been on tours with their bands. He wanted to wait for the perfect moment. All her bandmates were at V Festival, and she couldn't wait to tell them. They're all really excited for her, as the rest of One Direction are for Zayn."
