The Air A01 is basically a lens device that can be paired or attached to smartphones and tablets that run on both the iOS and Android mobile operating systems. It supports Android's 4.0 version or above and iOS' 7.0 version or above.

According to Softpedia, the new camera device can transform any mobile phone into a professional digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR).

With Amazon Cloud Drive, users can choose to either save their images online on the web or on their devices. In addition, users can also control and adjust the camera settings on their handsets. Other features include Art Filter, Color Creator, Photo Story and image viewing capabilities.

In terms of specs, the Air A01 comes with a 16 mega pixel micro four thirds sensor, silent electronic shutter, full HD video capability and 10 frames per second (fps) consecutive shooting feature, according to Olympus.
