'Okami HD' releases videos showing unique PlayStation 4 themes

The remastered edition of the popular action adventure video game "Okami" is only a month away from its release, and Capcom is giving players a glimpse of the title's unique PlayStation 4 themes by releasing a new set of videos.

The upcoming title offers a number of unique PS4 themes depending on how the players choose to purchase the game. The Picturesque Scenery theme will be included with the limited edition version of the game. This theme features bright landscapes with the iconic white wolf form of the goddess Amaterasu, which is featured in the game.

Players who will be ordering the game from Amazon Japan will be getting the Celestial Paintings theme. The theme includes darker-toned artwork that are nonetheless very fascinating.

The third theme is called Demon Caricatures, and it can be obtained by ordering the game from Geo. It features side-scrolling artworks of various creatures and Japanese calligraphy.

Finally, players who will be getting the physical copy of the game will be getting the Celestial Gods Brush: Calendar-Tailored theme, which includes various images of the celestial gods.

All of the themes that will arrive with "Okami HD" showcase the charming artwork that made the original game so captivating. The original title first launched in 2006 for the PlayStation 2. It garnered wide acclaim from both critics and fans, who cited the game's strong visual style as one of its strongest points.

The game went on to become one of biggest games of that year, and became a cult classic. With the remastered edition, Capcom is looking to introduce the title to a whole new generation of gamers. It would also be a great opportunity to utilize the powerful capabilities to current generation of game consoles to process the amazing visuals that the title is known for.

"Okami HD" will be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Dec. 12.
