Bandai Namco recently announced that the release of its upcoming role-playing video game "Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom" is delayed yet again. The video game will now be released on Mar. 23, 2018.

The game was supposed to be released in November this year but is delayed until January 2018. This means the decision to move the release date until March next year is the second time that the game is delayed.

The announcement first surfaced through the German Bandai Namco Twitter account. According to the game's developing company, Level-5, more time is needed to complete and maximize the game. Chief executive officer of Level-5, Akihiro Hino, said in a statement, "In an attempt to always bring new innovations to the players, we have introduced new modes of play, such as the assault and kingdom mode in Ni No Kuni II. In order to ensure that everything works perfectly and above all entertaining and the high quality standards of Level-5 and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc."

Hino said Bandai Namco and Level-5 have high standards for the game and that the delay time is necessary to achieve their target. "I would like to ask for everyone's patience as we move Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom's worldwide release date to 23rd March, 2018," Hino added.

The game is set to be released for PlayStation 4 and PC. There are still no news from Bandai or Level-5 if the game will accommodate other consoles like Xbox One or Nintendo Switch in the future.

Bandai Namco recently released the Japanese VO trailer of the game on YouTube. The trailer features most of the main characters including the main protagonist King Evan Pettiwhisker Tildrum of the cat tribe.

The trailer also features the video game's third-person RPG gameplay and some enemies.

"Revenant Kingdom" is the sequel to "Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch." The 2011 game received a 9.4 out of 10 score from IGN.
