Manny Pacquiao might face Horn - Crawford victor according to Top Rank Promoter Bob Arum

Supporters of the eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao might see the boxer back in the ring in 2018. According to Top Rank promoter Bob Arum, Pacquiao will face the victor of the anticipated Crawford versus Horn match.

The Filipino Senator is hoping to make a comeback after the disappointing loss he suffered in the hands of Australian Jeff Horn in Brisbane last year. People, athletes, boxing critics, and even boxers saw Horn's unanimous victory over Pacquiao as the biggest boxing upset in 2017. Horn was still applauded for his resolve throughout the entire 12 rounds, but many still think that Pacquiao got robbed.

Horn successfully defended the WBO welterweight title he got from Pacquiao last December 2017. The Aussie boxer stopped British boxer Gary Corcoran in the 11th round. The undefeated boxer from down under is also celebrating the birth of her firstborn child with his high school sweetheart.

The top contender to face Horn is American professional boxer Terence Crawford. During an interview with BoxingScene, Arum said, "I think we'll give him (Manny Pacquiao) a fight against top welterweight we are confident, or hope, that will be successful. And then have him fight the Horn-Crawford winner in the fall." The boxing promoter also stressed that Pacquiao is focused on his duty as a Senator for the Philippines. "Manny Pacquiao's plan revolves so much around the politics, how much he's needed by the President (Rodrigo Duterte)."

Just like Horn, Crawford remains undefeated after securing his 32nd victory against Namibia's Julius Indongo. Crawford overpowered the Namibian boxer and knocked him out in the third round.

There is still no confirmation for the bout between Crawford and Horn, but the latter already expressed his interest in the potential fight. If the fight was ever inked, it will go down at the United States in Las Vegas according to speculations.
