After almost five years of waiting, fans of Grammy Awards winning recipient Justin Timberlake are looking forward to his new album. Timberlake's fifth studio album "Man of the Woods" is set to be released on Feb. 2.

Timberlake recently released an introduction video for his upcoming album and shared the inspiration behind it. "This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've ever written, where I'm from. And it's personal," he said in the video. The video also features Timberlake's wife and Golden Globes nominee Jessica Biel and Grammy winner Pharell Williams. Timberlake is also shown carrying his son Silas Randall in the video.

According to a press release by RCA Records who will be distributing the album, "Man of the Woods" is Timberlake's "most ambitious album to date." It is also said that the album will tell Timberlake's journey from Memphis to his current state as a world-renowned artist.

Timberlake invited a few big names in the music industry including Pharell, Timbaland, The Neptunes, Chris Stapleton, and Alicia Keys. According to Rolling Stone, Stapleton and Timberlake's collaboration is the one to look out for with pop meeting country music.

The first salvo of the album is the release of Timberlake's new single and music video "Filthy" on Jan. 5. The album will also be available to pre-order on the same date of "Filthy's" release.

Two days after the album is released, Timberlake will take the stage during the Pepsi Super Bowl LII Halftime Show. Timberlake has not released any information about the lineup of the songs he will be performing and if he will be joined by other artists or bands on stage.

Timberlake's upcoming Super Bowl appearance will mark his third participation in the event so far. He first took the Super Bowl stage as an NSYNC member in 2001 and then he performed with other music stars on Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004.
