UPDATE: It has been revaeled that Robin Williams was discovered dead at his home by his personal assistant. According to TMZ, Williams' wife Susan Schneider had left house in the morning to run some errands. When Williams' PA arrived at his home, she knocked but no one answered. She went inside and found Williams, who died of an apparent suicide. However, no suicide note was found.
A news conference will be held by law enforcement officials at 11 a.m. PT (2 p.m. ET). A live stream will be available.

Hollywood's Laugh Factory has lit up a marquee in memory of late actor and comedian Robin Williams.
The Laugh Factory's marquee was lit up with the words "Robin Williams Rest in Peace Make God Laugh," after word of his death on August 11 spread and shocked the world.
Williams, 63, was pronounced dead at his home after emergency responders arrived. A statement by the Marin County Sheriff's Department in California said: "On August 11, 2014, at approximately 11:55 am, Marin County Communications received a 9-1-1 telephone call reporting a male adult had been located unconscious and not breathing inside his residence in unincorporated Tiburon, CA. The male subject, pronounced deceased at 12:02 pm has been identified as Robin McLaurin Williams."
Funnyman Williams had entertained the audience for decades, but behind the laughs and smiles, he had been battling depression and alcohol.
Tributes poured in from President Obama, fellow actors and friends, to fans that have been touched by his performances throughout the years.
His daughter, Zelda Williams, tweeted a quote by French writer and poet Antoine de Saint-Exupery. "You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them ... In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night ... You - only you - will have stars that can laugh," she wrote. "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up."
President Obama stated: "Robin Williams was an airman, a doctor, a genie, a nanny ... and everything in between. But he was one of a kind."
Billy Crystal simply tweeted, "No words."
Mara Wilson, who starred alongside Williams in 'Mrs Doubtfire,' tweeted: "Very sad, very upset, very glad I did not have to hear about this though Twitter. Probably going to be taking some time off it for a while."
Kevin Spacey tweeted: "Robin Williams made the world laugh & think. I will remember & honor that. A great man, artist and friend. I will miss him beyond measure."
Conan O'Brien tweeted: "Absolutely stunned to hear the news about Robin Williams. It's unimaginable to me that we've lost such a genuinely funny and sweet man."
Ben Stiller said, "A tweet cannot begin to describe the hugeness of Robin Williams heart and soul and talent. This is so sad."

The late actor is survived by his wife, graphic designer Susan Schneider, and three children.
A statement from Schneider reads: "This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings.
"I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."
