The 88th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will see the return of the nation's favorite balloons and floats on Nov. 27, 2914.

This year's parade could possibly be threatened with the chance of snow, as up to six inches of snow is expected across the northern parts of New York City. For those who are planning to travel to the city to watch the parade, be sure to check the forecast to track the possible snow.

Last year, strong winds nearly forced some floats and some big balloons to be grounded, but luckily the weather picked up in time for the parade.

For those who can't make it to New York City for the annual parade this year, it will be available to watch on NBC between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. across all time zones in America. A live stream will also be available to watch the parade online.

The 3-hour parade broadcast will be hosted by NBC's Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Savannah, which is expected to be seen by up to 50 million viewers.

Over 3.5 million spectators are expected to show up along the 2.5 mile stretch of the parade in Manhattan. Over 8,000 participants will be taking part in the parade, ranging from bands across the nation, dazzling floats, balloons, clowns, Santa Claus and more.
