John Stamos describes fiancee Caitlin McHugh as 'perfect girl,' reveals he is 'on cloud nine'

After "Full House" star John Stamos made everyone envious of his uber-sweet, fairy tale-ish Instagram post announcing his engagement with actress Caitlin McHugh, the actor could not help but gush over an unimaginable event of his life.

"Grandfathered" star Stamos could not contain his happiness during the event he and his fiancee attended on Tuesday, Oct. 24. During the benefit dinner at Ron Burkle's Green Acres Estate in Beverly Hills, California, the actor said to Entertainment Weekly that he was on "cloud nine" and joked that he floated from the car to the venue.

The excitement of Stamos spilled as he told the outfit that the perfect girl had entered his life. The noticeably happy couple graced the event and even shared a smooch on the red carpet. McHugh, who made appearances in "The Vampire Diaries" and "NCIS: Los Angeles," was also wearing the engagement band.

This was just days since the "Scream Queens" actor revealed on his social media account that his then-girlfriend said yes, with an illustration by popular animator Paul Briggs, who also had a hand in the movies "Frozen" and "Tangled." The art showed a couple in front of Sleeping Beauty's castle and was captioned, "I asked...she said yes! ...And we lived happily ever after."

Stamos also reportedly got hands-on with the proposal gimmick, putting together clips from Disney and Pixar movies to pop the question to the 31-year-old actress. The two also share a fascination with Disney-related themes, a fact that was highly evident on their social media accounts.

After McHugh said yes to Stamos, the two went to the theme park's 21 Royal to celebrate with friends and family. The pair met on the set of the film "Ingenue-ish" in 2016.
