Last week's epic premiere of Game of Thrones season 4 "Two Swords" drew in 6.6 million viewers.

This week, Game of Thrones season 4 episode 2 titled "The Lion and the Rose" will focus on the royal waiting between Joffrey and Margaery.

The official synopsis is as follows: "Tyrion lends Jaime a hand. Joffrey and Margaery host a breakfast. At Dragonstone, Stannis loses patience with Davos. Ramsay finds a purpose for his pet. North of the Wall, Bran sees where they must go."

Game of Thrones Season 4, episode 2 "The Lion and the Rose", will be airing Sunday, April 13, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO, or alternatively can be watched online through live stream with HBO Go and HBO Connect.

Days after the successful season 4 premiere of "Two Swords," HBO announced that it would renew the show for seasons 5 and 6.

"Game of Thrones is a phenomenon like no other," HBO's president of programming, Michael Lombardo, said in a statement. "David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, along with their talented collaborators, continue to surpass themselves, and we look forward to more of their dazzling storytelling."
