Chip and Joanna Gaines, the popular couple in charge of house flipping in the HGTV series "Fixer Upper," have always made it a point to do the best job they can for homeowners, while also staying within the confines of their clients' budget. With this mindset, the couple has gained a large following and an even bigger fortune, with the fifth season of the series set to premiere this month.

While the Gaines', being the down-to-earth people that they are, have never boasted about their fortune, it is reported that they are each worth $8 million individually.

In "Fixer Upper" the couple reportedly earns $30,000 per episode from their clients for their work in repairing and designing their new houses. On top of that, the couple gets an undisclosed amount from television network HGTV.

Although "Fixer Upper" is the most popular venture of the couple, it is only one of the many moneymakers of the family. The couple owns a renovation company called Magnolia Homes, where Chip heads construction and Joanna works as the lead designer. Part of what the couple does at Magnolia Homes is reflected in "Fixer Upper."

The couple also owns Magnolia Realty, a real estate agency where they work on buying, flipping, and selling homes for different clients. The two also have Magnolia Silos, a boutique marketplace in Taco, Texas. Here, consumers can shop, play games, relax at a garden center, and eat food. Finally, the couple runs a home-rental business called Magnolia Stay.

The couple also maintains an online presence for their business. Magnolia Market is an online store where consumers can purchase items for their houses, as well as gifts. The pair has also partnered with Target for their own home line.

"Fixer Upper" is set to premiere its final season this month. According to rumors, the couple's insistence in featuring their Magnolia-branded products in the show led to problems between them and the network, ultimately leading to a decision to make the fifth season the final one.

The fifth season of "Fixer Upper" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on HGTV.
