The metroidvania-roguelike hybrid video game "Dead Cells" is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch soon. Gamers are now going crazy and are waiting for further update from the title's developer Motion Twin.

Motion Twin said on Facebook, "We're absolutely stoked to confirm that Dead Cells is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One this year." The post was met with excited gamers, especially Switch console users.

The indie video game company also released a short announcement trailer showcasing the video game's explosive and engaging gameplay. Motion Twin even poked fun by captioning the video with, "Dead Cells is coming to your favorite console in 2018! Well maybe not to Ouya, but it will be available n Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and the Xbox One."

Motion Twin is yet to announce the release date of the final version of "Dead Cells" for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. During an interview with Polygon, "Dead Cells'" producer Steve Filby said, "Ideally, we would like to release all the console versions and the PC version simultaneously.

There is also no information from the company if new contents, stages, or other elements will be added with the re-release of the game for other consoles.

"Dead Cells" was released back in May 10, 2017 for the PC via Steam. The 2D hack 'n' slash game is a big hit with both gamers and video game critics. The video game got a perfect score of 10 from Steam and 9 from Polygon. The title is applauded for its fast-paced and action-packed gameplay with both weapons and magic. "Dead Cells'" difficulty level is also compared to the action role-playing video game "Dark Souls."

Both old and new gamers of "Dead Cells" are now waiting for the video game's window release date.
