The Christmas Eve episode for NBC's drama television series "Days of Our Lives" is up next. Episode 61 of season 53 will feature a commotion caused by Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) during one of the most important celebrations of the year.

Christmas is all over Salem for today's episode. Claire and Ciara are going at it again and just in time for Christmas eve. The two have been locking horns in previous episodes, especially when Ciara figured out that Claire has feelings for Tripp (Lucas Adams). Ciara will have a disagreement with her niece Claire in the middle of hanging the Horton ornaments in their household.

Meanwhile, things are a little different for Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller). It is Christmas, but the two will spend some romantic time together to celebrate the holiday. The two managed to put the whole Andre issue behind and get together.

Fans of the show will also find out if Lani (Sal Towers) will give up on JJ (Casey Moss) or not. In the most recent episode, JJ reflects on all of his memories with his loved ones. Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will ask Abe (James Reynolds) to show JJ forgiveness after the shooting incident.

In the upcoming episode, fans will be shocked with a surprise couple being intimate. Abe still can't find it in his heart to forgive JJ for shooting his son. That is when Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) comes in. Jennifer will emotionally ask Abe to finally forgive JJ for what he has done.

There are no further information about the series if Abe will indeed show JJ forgiveness.

"Days of Our Lives" continues to generate mixed reviews from critics. The drama series got a 5.3 out of 10 score from IMDb and 8.1 out of 10 from TV.com.

Today's episode will air at 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
