Chrissy Teigen gets Nintendo Switch back with help from hotel and social media followers

Nintendo's latest console, the Switch, has garnered a lot of fans since it was released earlier this year. One of them is model and celebrity Chrissy Teigen, who unfortunately, left her console at a hotel. Thankfully, the internet was quick to come to her rescue. Social media followers along with hotel staff successfully helped Teigen get her unit back.

Teigen, who is very active in social media, tweeted on Friday that she left her Nintendo Switch at a Courtyard Marriott in Springfield, Ohio. "I left my Nintendo at the courtyard marriott in Springfield please I need a Christmas miracle," she wrote in her tweet.

She even added hints as to what game she plays most on the console. "I need my moons back," she said, referring to the collectible items in the game "Super Mario Odyssey."

Fortunately, the hotel as well as a number of well-meaning fans helped ease Teigen's anxiety for losing her beloved video game console. One fan confirmed that the hotel was sending her lost console back to her. "Chrissy!!! I'm from Springfield and I just called the hotel and they said they found it and it's already in the package to be sent out!!! I would be lost without my Switch so I feel your struggle!" said one fan.

Another fan offered to pick it up and deliver it to the model. However, at that time, Teigen was already tracking the package, which was well on its way to her.

On Saturday morning, the model went on social media once again to confirm that she has received her Nintendo Switch back. She posted a short video on Instagram showing her husband, John Legend, opening a FedEx package. To her delight, the content of the package turned out to be her console.

Recently, Teigen also used Instagram to reveal to the world that she and her husband are expecting their second baby. In a video, she asked their first child Luna what was inside her belly. Luna promptly responded with "Baby!"
